I'm not trashing the series or anything, I'm just confused since everyone's hyping it up to be the most fucked anime since, like, Higurashi or whatever. Anyone mind giving me a spoiler-free rundown on what it's all about?
It's pretty fucked up, probably more than Higurashi, but people are hyping the reaction of Twitter and other social medias because people went crazy with Goblin Slayer, I really want to see the dumpster fire that's going to be with this.
It's getting hyped because we know the subject matter is going to make people upset. Hopefully it's not another Goblin Slayer where after the shock value of the first episode you're left with a forgettable anime.
It's not the series that's attracting us it's the controversy. If they adapt it like the manga its gonna cause more controversy than uzaki, goblin slayer, and shield hero combined. We just waiting for the internet to explode
