I liked this plot way better than samurai champloo and I couldn't stand to even finish cowboy bebop so everyone has different opinions. Just my opinion but I liked the more serious vibe of this show compared to the others I really enjoyed it

This series was definitely overhyped and missed so much potential—all in all, a sloppy performance. I wouldn’t call it a “turd” though.

Calling it a turd is a bit much. It felt like it was a bit rushed at times though, it deserved more episodes. The anime has the most beautiful soundtrack though, and the animation is so good it feels like it has the budget of a movie. Those are all just vibes though. I really liked the characters and the message of the anime.

Because it's not a mess. It's well written.
I do agree that this one is one of his Weaker works, tho. Just because anything he does is damn amazing

Ayo NO WONDER I didn't enjoy this😂 i didn't know Watanabe made this. Champloo was decent but I didnt like Cowboy Bebop either.

I'll give Lazarus a shot because of Chad Stahelski's involvement but I doubt it'll even break into my top 50.

The Blade Runner short was pretty good. Not sure about the TV series though. The animation looked kinda cheap so I didn't watch that.

I really liked the show up til the introduction of the antagonist, and I really like the show after the antagonist was gone. I gave it a 9/10 for how enjoyable it was outside of that range

I absolutely love how many of you get so triggered over another person's opinion. OP isn't far off though this show was incredibly mediocre in its delivery and convoluted plot.

@Theo1899 albeit a little too dark the background visuals are great but the character animation not so much. Looks like PS3.
