Clannad, Clannad: AS, Tsuritama, Naruto, to name a few. No, my opinion didn't change, in case you're wondering.

Toradora. At first I hated this weird first episode, but I gave it another shot. 9/10 actually.

Hunter x Hunter 2011, pretty much dropped it after every arc but somehow still ended up completing it since one of my online friends kept on insisting to give it another shot every time I stopped and I had also heard a lot of good things about it. I regret my decision.

I had dropped Violet Evergarden two times I really couldn't get into it, but the overwhelming praise for the show made me come back and finish it.

I dropped Black Clover after keeping up with it to about 30 episodes. Picked it back up cuz people were saying it got better. I actually like it a lot now, and am trying to catch up to the current episode.

Kiniro Mozaic (2nd season cause I mixed up the shows), but it's not like I heard good things about it, just that Karen is great. I finished it and it weirded me out in a good way I suppose. Now I have to watch the 1st season too.

Seconded. Clumsy and socially awkward little girls who happen also to be ideal soldiers being coddled by the patriarch. BLech. I had a disgusted feeling in my stomach that rivaled the slavery apologetic in Ancient Magus' Bride and Shield Hero. But if anyone could defend it here in a way that makes sense, I'll watch it.

dude go off, those are good points lol. I thought it was a super weird concept but also just not engaging. I won't watch shield hero if it's full of crap like that, thanks for the heads up. I don't think I could get back into VE even if someone made an argument for it tbh like I'll hear it but it was just a snooze fest, even without the other stuff

I've been avoiding it since people say last third or fourth went to shit because the talent behind the show was stifled. Is that overblown or was it that bad?

I think the only show I dropped and decided to rewatch was xxxholic, and that was because I thought it was weird when I was younger. It aired on the funimation channel one day and decided to watch it. It's actually a pretty good show.

It's bad.
Doesn't make it less of a masterpiece, but it's pretty noticeable that, somewhere towards the end, there must have been some serious shit going on in the background.

It's yet another unfinished adaptation, like we usually get...

None yet but there are few things on my dropped list I may go back and finish anyway.
Aku no Hana
91 Days
Dramatical Murder
To name a few.

Part of me wanted to drop Monster until someone told be it takes to about episode 25-30 before it gets super interesting. I'm glad I stayed with it.

Yeah. I'm glad I decided to pick it back up. Because Kare Kano is really something else. I don't exactly remember what drove me to pick it back up, but whatever it was, I'm glad it happened.

I enjoyed the last few episodes alot more than the beginning half, but overall I think the show is just average (story wise).

I found Kaguya to be super boring and had a few funny moments so it wasn't that bad but I found no reason to continue watching. My friend was super obsessed with it and kept telling me to watch it so I finished it only to find out it was still boring and unfunny.

Evangelion and Bakemonogatari.
Evangelion years and years ago.

I started Bake, didn't like it and dropped it because it was putting me to sleep (I hate dropping anime, too). Someone talked me into picking it back up. I made it another few episodes and dropped it again.

Shinsekai Yori. I'm glad I did it, because it turned out much better than expected. The first episodes were partially stupid though.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Also glad about that, it's one of my favorite fighting Shonen now. I have no clue how I manage to love it this much despite of all the comedy filler, but I do.

Code Geass.. Oof. Man that wasn't an easy task. I started it 3 times until I managed to get past episode ~8. I could have lived without watching it. I just wanted to see what all the fuzz is about, so I pushed through. My biggest problem were the characters, I barely cared about anyone. No twist has any effect if you don't have much of a connection to the characters. Some characters I liked got worse over time, as in their development wasn't handled well/went too quickly. And I went in with the wrong expectations because people kept on saying it's similar to Death Note, which I don't see. Code;Geass doesn't focus that much on the mind game aspect, even though it's there. I did like the strategy battles, but it's not what I expected. It also had some irrational moments/plot holes that stood out too much to me, at least in s2. Mostly characters being written in a rather ... wobbly way lol

Gunbuster - I originally dropped this halfway through, but some of my friends insisted that I finish it. Seeing that it was only 6 episodes long, I went back and completed it, but I still didn't exactly enjoy it. It has to be one of the most overrated things I've ever seen.

Maison Ikkoku - I originally dropped this after just one episode, but all my friends begged me to pick it back up, as they claimed that it was one of the best things ever made. I forced myself to watch it, but I dropped it for the final time after seeing a total of 20 episodes. It was quite evident that my friends were full of shit when they told me that this Anime was supposed to be good, because it was the worst thing I've ever seen.

Pretty arrogant of you to say when you just contradicted yourself in front of everyone. You're one of those idiots who deserve to be put on ignore. Next time think about what you post before you embarrass yourself.

Look, kid, I will put this as simply as I can so you understand this time:

What's bad isn't the anime, but the fact that talent was stifled during the very last episodes of the show.
You would know that if you were capable of interpreting context.

It being incomplete is par for the course in anime. Doesn't make it any less of a masterpiece than Nausicaa being incomplete does.
With anime often being a glorified advertisement for its source, it's something we will simply have to deal with.

Now feel free to put me on ignore. Also feel free to kindly go fuck yourself, but that one's optional.

High School DxD. I initially watched it casually with my friends so I wasn't really paying attention to it. I was also in that weird phase where I actively avoided Ecchi. By the time High School DxD Hero was announced, my friends had all finished the series, so I decided to catch up, as by that time I wasn't actively avoided Ecchi shows. I didn't expect it to be actually good!

Also, Konosuba. This was actually a harder drop than DxD was. I found the first episode cringey and not funny at all. The thing is, I watched it before I had even watched any other Isekai. After returning to it in curiousity a while later, I finally got it and it was hilarious.

Naruto, stopped after the 10th episode because i found it boring but liked it after the second watch for some reason. It was great when I picked it up again but i regret ever watching because of how depressing it was. Im still not over the crappy ending and the shitty quality of the second half of shippuden. Very heartbreaking, disappointing and really regret ever picking it up again.
On several occasions tried to watch FMAB but never got passed the 3rd part because I found it boring (maybe because my expectations were too high idk). I hope to pick it up again in like a year to refresh my mind and give it another chance. A few other shows I dropped and picked up after my brother told me to. I have a bad habit of not completing what I start. It’s really bad.

You should either read the manga or wait (however many flipping years) for an actual worthy anime production of it. You shouldn’t watch the anime of berserk that have already come out. They don’t do the story and art justice.
